How do I make a classroom Jeopardy game?
Open the free board maker, name five categories from your unit, then write five clues and answers under each with point values from easiest to hardest. Project the finished board, split the class into teams, and host it. A full 5×5 board takes about 20 minutes to write, or you can start from a ready-made teacher board and edit it.
Is Kleveroo free for teachers?
Yes. Building boards manually, saving them, hosting them in class, and playing any public teacher board are all free with no board limit and no credit card. Paid plans only add AI board generation, larger grids, and premium themes.
Do students need accounts or devices?
No. The standard classroom setup is one screen and one host: you project the board and students answer in teams from their seats, with no logins, no devices, and no buzzers. If your class is 1:1, live trivia rooms let each student join from a Chromebook or phone with a 4-letter code instead.
What grade levels does this work for?
Grades 3 through college. The board format is simple enough for elementary review and the question difficulty is entirely set by what you write, so the same tool covers a 4th grade vocabulary game and an AP exam review session.
Can I align a board to my unit or standard?
Yes. Write clues directly from your lesson outcomes, or describe the unit and standard to the AI generator and edit the draft it returns. Boards save to your account so next year's version starts from this year's.
Will it work on my classroom projector or SMART Board?
